Information for Students Adding Math 260 Online

Yes, I am adding students :-)

bulletBefore the semester starts:
Please email your request and your transcript (unofficial is OK) to siswana@elac.edu ASAP.  Your transcript must have your name, the college you attended, and the required prerequisite math class with the grade.  You can blacken any other information which I do not need.  If you have placed into Math 260, please scan your score as I would need to see if your score is high enough.  I may be able to add you to the class if the score is high. As of today, I have added 5 students to the class so there are only few spaces available.

bulletOnce the semester starts:
Please come to the orientation and bring your transcript (unofficial is OK).  Usually, by the orientation the class is already full so that the sooner you can email me the transcript, the better.

Priority to add is given to students who have completed a college level course equivalent to Math 125 (Intermediate Algebra) or higher with a grade of B or better.

The class is capped at 55 and I do not guarantee adding everyone to the class.

IMPORTANT: If you are not currently attending ELAC and you want to add this class, please make sure to transfer your record to ELAC Admission Office, i.e. Intermediate Algebra (Math 125) or your placement exam in which you are placed at Math 260 (Precalculus) level.  Without the prerequisite, the admission office will not process the add-slip.

In order not to be excluded from the class, ALL students must also

bulletlogin to Course Compass by Wednesday, Sept 8, 8:00 p.m.  AND
bulletsubmit the Preliminary (Syllabus and Orientation) Test inside Course Compass >> Assignment  by Wednesday, Sept 15, 2010, 8:00 p.m. PST (Pacific Standard Time).
